Carpet is manufactured using a wide variety of natural and man made fibers, decide for yourself which carpet best suits your home.

Carpet Fibers ImageNylon carpet is the most popular synthetic carpet manufactured today. Nylon carpets offer tremendous value, performance and easy maintenance in addition to brilliant colors and the ability to hide soil and traffic wear.

Polypropylene or Olefin carpets include berbers, level loops and outdoor carpets. Polypropylene carpets are highly stain, static, mold and mildew resistant.

Polyester carpets gives excellent color clarity with a soft feel to the carpet. They are known for their vibrant colors and are naturally resistant to fading, easy to clean and resists stains. This carpet lacks the durability of a nylon carpet.

Acrylic carpets have the look and appearance of real wool. Used mainly in level loops, bath mats and some velvet carpet styles. This carpet offers the look and feel of wool at much less cost, and is moisture and mildew-resistant. Also resists stains and crushing and fading due to sunlight. Acrylic carpets don't stand up to heavy traffic and so are not suitable for all household areas.

Wool carpets - although expensive, wool offers great bulk, performance and an elegant look. Wool is a renewable resource making it the most environmentally friendly choice of carpet fibers.
